TURN UP THE HEAT
Included with the 9Barista Espresso Machine as standard, the Heat Transfer Plate is made from a single piece of aluminium and is designed to most efficiently transfer heat from your stove to the 9Barista.
Finished in black, the Plate will naturally change to red and then silver after some use, as shown in the gallery image. This is perfectly normal, and is a useful indicator that the plate is providing your machine with enough heat.
NOTE: This plate will work on gas, electric and ceramic cooktops, but not induction; for use on induction cooktops, please see the Induction Adaptor Plate.
