Conceived to soften and promote a more even delivery of water to the coffee bed on which it rests, the Normcore Lower Shower Screen helps to prevent channeling and ensure a more even & balanced extraction with your espresso machine.
Composed of multi-layered stainless steel mesh with 150”m filtration, the puck screen will also reduce the need for cleaning of the brew head with lever machines in particular, as it minimises the amount of coffee material that is pulled into the brew head when lifting the lever after a shot is completed. Simply place atop your prepared coffee bed prior to your pull, then rinse clean after use.
Available in your choice of thickness and diameter to match your brewing preferences and filter basket size.
1.7mm (most popular) thickness is recommended for most applications and light/medium roasts, while the 1.0mm thickness is suggested with dark roasts, where the same dose weight will yield a higher volume in the basket.
